This smoothie is packed full of nutritious and energizing ingredients that help me get through my day as a work from home entrepreneur. It also contains a good amount of protein which will keep you feel full throughout your day. When I first found this smoothie on Pinterest, I was a little skeptical – but trust me, it’s so good!
The best part? This productivity boosting green smoothie is so simple to make. With just 5 ingredients, there’s really no excuse not to try it! I had one right before getting inspired to write this post. See? It works fast 😉

5 Power Packed Ingredients
Kale
Just one cup of kale packs 3g of protein, 2.5g of fiber, Vitamins A, C and K, as well as several B vitamins, iron and omega-3’s.
Pears
Pears add a juicy sweetness to the smoothie and additional fiber to keep you full.
Bananas
Bananas are rich in potassium and fiber and add more natural sweetness to this delicious drink.
Almond Butter
Almond butter adds even more protein to the smoothie as well as healthy fats, minerals and calcium. Not to mention, it’s delicious!
Almond Milk
Almond milk is rich in calcium, makes this drink so smooth and also contains protein and healthy fats like the almond butter.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Kale
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 Pear
- 1 heaping tablespoon Almond Butter
- 1 cup Almond Milk (or your favorite dairy free alternative)
- 5-8 Ice Cubes (optional)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend for 45 seconds until smooth and creamy
- Drink and enjoy!
Tip: If you like your smoothies ice cold, freeze the kale, banana and pear overnight and then when you’re ready for a smoothie, add in almond butter and almond milk and blend until smooth.
